CTI Biofuels, LLC (CTIB) is the manufacturing division of CTI BioChemicals, LLC (CTIBC) located in Pittsburgh, PA.  The company designs and manufactures state- of-the-art renewable fuel processing plants that incorporate technology developed at the Center for Advanced Fuel Technology also located in Pittsburgh.   

CTI BioChemicals is a vertically integrated renewable energy company.  In addition to its current technology, CTIBC is developing the next generation biofuel processing technology that involves low pressure / low temperature hydrocracking.  This technology will convert renewable feedstock into bio-jet fuel, bio-gasoline and bio-diesel that are virtually identical to petroleum-based jet fuel, gasoline and diesel.  Because feedstock plays a significant role in the financial success of renewable fuel production, CTIBC is developing sustainable feedstock production capabilities throughout the world.  These facilities will provide a reliable, low cost oil feedstock for its customers and processing plants.
